The HURAPRIM Research Team brings together 9 committed partners. The 6 African partners (5 universities and 1 non profit organization) represent different parts of the continent. They cover a broad range of geographical, social and political realities and specific health workers’ realities and challenges. They are supported by 3 European Universities.
Important decisions related to the project, such as annual work plans and distribution of funds, are taken by the Project Management Committee (PMC). Every local coordinator of the 9 HURAPRIM partners has a seat and a vote in the committee.
An International Advisory Board (IAB) with specialists from various international organizations and institutions support the research team with relevant advice and expertise.
The Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for the overall coordination of the project. The PMO is housed at the Department of Family Medicine and Primary Health Care at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Ghent University, Belgium.
